What to expect during treatmentÂ
Following a topical anesthetic application, your provider may perform an internal FormaV treatment to improve dryness issues. Then, in the vaginal canal and around the urethral opening, we perform Morpheus8V RF microneedling. Patients report minor pressure and the occasional hot, prickly sensation. Morpheus8V treatments are frequently combined with VTone.Â
Pre & Post Treatment CareÂ
No extensive preparation is needed prior to beginning Morpheus8V treatments. Most schedule treatment when they are not menstruating. We ask that hair growth in the vaginal area is shaved or trimmed before each treatment. For 2-3 days after treatment, we advise against using tampons, having sexual relations, or doing pelvic exams. Additionally, for 2-3 days following treatment, we advise you to apply a thin coating of Vaseline to aid with comfort and healing.Â
